China Experiences Surge in Travel During Mid-Autumn Festival

Passenger traffic soared during the Mid-Autumn Festival, with a total of 629.56 million trips handled by China's various transportation sectors over the three-day holiday periodan increase of 31.1 compared to the previous yearaccording to data from the Ministry of Transport.

Notably, rlway passenger traffic reached 42.57 million trips; waterway travel accounted for 1.98 million trips; and r travel saw a total of 5.07 million passengers across rports.

The bulk of trips were carried out through road transportation with 579.94 million passenger trips recorded.
