TIME Hotels, a leading hospitality brand headquartered in the UAE, has announced its exciting expansion into the Indian Ocean region through the launch of two new brands - HALO by TIME and VIVI by TIME. These innovative additions to the company's portfolio are set to make their debut at Hankede Island in the Addu Atoll, Maldives, with a launch date scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.
This move marks TIME Hotels' latest expansion beyond its current presence across countries such as UAE, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Liberia into an entirely new region. The upcoming projects will encompass two stunning properties: VIVI by TIME, a Lifestyle brand featuring 75 rooms spread over six floors with breathtaking sea views and top-tier amenities; alongside HALO by TIME, an upscale brand boasting 150 keys across eight floors including bespoke sunrise and sunset over water villas.
TIME Hotels has partnered with Maldives Fund Management Corporation MFMC, a state-owned company established in 2019 to boost national development objectives through increased private sector investments and alleviate limitations within the local financial framework. The collaboration between TIME Hotels and MFMC is a testament to the ongoing progress of the Maldives' development strategy.
